Department of Radiology
The Department is having infrastructure and faculty as per MCI guidelines.
The Department is equipped with latest high end equipments like 1.5T MRI (Philips intra Achiva), Digital Substraction Angiography (Allengers), MDCT (Simens Somatome Scope - 32 slice), Color Doppler (Philips, GE), Ultrasonography (Simens, GE), Mammography (Philips) and Computed Radiography (Fuji) systems with time to time hardware / software upgradation contracts with the companies.
The Department provides complete routine as well as emergency services; including its medico legal aspects by competent faculty members as well as junior residents.
The department if fully equipped for basic as well as advanced image guided (USG / CT guided) procedures (for diagnosis and therapeutic management).
Undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching (theory classes, CME, seminar, Journal Club meetings, case presentation studies and spotter evaluation) carried out by the faculty members of Department of Radiodiagnosis & Imaging by utilizing multimedia projectors with quarterly assessments.
Knowledge in the sub- specialties of radiology such as neural-radiology, GI-radiology, Uro-radiology, vascular radiology, musculoskeletal and pediatric radiology provided in collaboration with the respective clinical departments by arranging interdepartmental meetings.
