It is matter of utmost satisfaction to me that the Institute is doing very well these days and is one of the best Medical Institute of Northern India. When I took over as the President of Shiromani Gurwara Prabhandhak Committee and Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital Trust, the Institute was passing through a financial crisis as common with all Medical Insitutues in early years as the funds are exhausted creating infrastructure. Wtihour commenting on others, I would like to share that my priority has always been the educational institutions. I believe in spending last penny on such institutions especially those which contribute to the making of a healthy society. It is a matter of contentment that the team of S. Joginder Singh, Secretar and Dr. AP Singh, Additional Secretary of the trust and Dr. Geeta Sharma, Director-Principal, with the co-operation of very hard working faculty have been successful in elevating the institute to the level which has become the cherished desire of the like institutions.

With the stunning growth of CANCER in Punjab in the recent years, our first priority is to equip our Sri Guru Ram Das Rotary Cancer Hospital with the most modern machinery and well qualified faculty so that cheaper and quality treatment is provided to the needy ones.
