It is equipped with well trained faculty and latest medical technology is providing health care services ranging from minor ailment to Critical illness, requiring Tertiary care facilities like central Oxygen supply, Central Suction, Bed side monitoring, Cardiac defibrillator, Pulse oxymeter & ventilator. Serious and critically ill patients in Medical ICU and ICCU are looked after by the doctors round the clock.
The energetic staff of department actively participates in the patient care not only in the hospital, but also during Medical camps organized in the rural areas of the state. Various special clinics (Diabetic, Epilepsy, Rheumatology, Cardiology andNephrology) being run by the department, not only provide specific disease focused, skilled management to the patient but are also helpful in the research work. The department imparts clinical training to postgraduates (M.D, M.D.S), Undergraduates MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing.
Cathlab is proposed to be started soon, so Dr. Gaurav Mohan has been appointed as Cardiologist.
